Privacy Policy

Discount Calculator ("the App") is a free utility that helps you calculate discounted prices with or without VAT. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, why it is collected, and how it is used.

By using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy.

The App itself does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All calculations happen entirely on your device.

The only data stored locally on your device is:

• Your chosen theme preferences (colours) — saved with SharedPreferences.
• An anonymous counter used to pace interstitial ads — saved with SharedPreferences.

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

The App displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve personalised or non-personalised ads, including:

• Device identifiers (e.g. Advertising ID)
• IP address and approximate location
• Interaction data (ad clicks, impressions)
• Device type, operating system, and language

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before serving personalised ads, in compliance with GDPR and the IAB TCF. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time via Settings → Manage Ad Preferences inside the App.

The App requests the following Android / iOS permissions:

• Internet access — required to load advertisements.
• Network state — used by AdMob to check connectivity before loading ads.

No other permissions are requested. The App does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other sensitive data.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

The App integrates the following third-party SDKs:

• Google AdMob — advertising & mediation
• Google UMP SDK — consent management (EEA only)

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

Since the App stores only local preferences on your device, you can delete all stored data at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings, or by uninstalling the App.

If you are located in the EEA or UK you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing of your data.
• Withdraw ad-personalisation consent at any time via Settings → Manage Ad Preferences.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
